A limited warranty is furnished on all products manufactured by ST CLOUD DOOR CO. This is limited to products manufactured by ST CLOUD DOOR CO and does not included outsourced products. Please see below for detailed information.
Thermo-Foil Product Warranty
All of our Thermo-Foil products carry a five (5) year limited warranty. ST CLOUD DOOR CO warrants against color fade, swelling, de-lamination, defects in material and craftsmanship. ST CLOUD DOOR CO will provide replacement panels in similar style, finish, and sizes. ST CLOUD DOOR CO warrants due to normal kitchen and/or bathroom environments and will not warrant against abnormal conditions such as fire, flood, or other natural disaster. This warranty will not cover any consequential costs incurred, such as installation, removal, travel, etc.
ST CLOUD DOOR CO will not warrant bowing and/or warping of products that EXCEED the recommended maximum sizes. Panels larger than 22" in width or larger than 43" in height will not be warranted for bowing and/or warping.
ST CLOUD DOOR CO uses industry standard size tolerance of 1/8". Any door product that falls within this standard tolerance is considered acceptable and not grounds for replacement.
Any specialty trim, mouldings, items that are not manufactured by ST CLOUD DOOR CO will not be warranted. These items include but are not limited to: Island Posts, Corbells, Rosettes, select Beauty Moulding, etc.
Solid-Wood Product Warranty
All of our Solid-Wood products carry a one (1) year limited warranty. Being a natural product, many factors can contribute to the product failing.
For UNFINISHED product, ST CLOUD DOOR CO warrants against defects in craftsmanship of the product subjected to normal kitchen and/or bathroom environments and will not warrant against abnormal conditions such as fire, flood, or other natural disaster. ST CLOUD DOOR CO recommends finishing UNFINISHED product no later than 2 weeks after delivery. UNFINISHED product will not be warranted for expansion damage or blistering if subjected to prolonged heat and/or cold temperatures or left unfinished by client and/or end user. Any defect occurring due to finishing of these panels not finished by ST CLOUD DOOR CO will not be covered.
For FINISHED product, ST CLOUD DOOR CO warrants against defects in craftsmanship as well as blistering, peeling, chipping, cracking of the FINISH, which are subjected to normal kitchen and/or bathroom environments and will not warrant against abnormal conditions such as fire, flood, or other natural disaster. Changes in color and/or color tone over time will not be warranted as it is considered acceptable by industry standards. Damage due to negligence of client and/or end user (i.e. using abrasive solvents to clean product, etc) will not be covered. Any consequential costs such as installation, removal, travel, etc are not covered.
ST CLOUD DOOR CO will not warrant bowing and/or warping of products that EXCEED the recommended maximum sizes. Panels larger than 22" in width or larger than 43" in height will not be warranted for bowing and/or warping. ST CLOUD DOOR CO Solid-Wood division inserts center stiles (for panels larger than 22" in width) and center rails (for panels larger than 43" in height) for stability of the product. Having these center stiles and rails is merely to HELP prevent bowing and/or warping and will not be covered.
